Sarah’s work as food sustainability manager is split into three pillars – responsible sourcing of ingredients, low resource-use manufacturing and sustainable customer choice. Her aim is to make responsible business work for people throughout the supply chain and conserve our natural resources, to ensure we have delicious healthy food choices in the future. As a member owned ethical business The Co-op has often led the way in these areas and is continuing this work.
Sarah is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and won the Women in Retail ‘Rising star’ award in 2016.
