It advises and challenges these organisations, both in one-to-one partnerships, and also as part of multi-stakeholder collaborations to address system-wide challenges. WWF
Our ultimate goal has always been “people living in harmony with nature” – so we’re about respecting and valuing the natural world and finding ways to share the Earth’s resources fairly.
But that’s only part of the story…
To achieve that, we spend a lot of time working with communities, withpoliticians and with businesses too. Most of the threats to wildlife and habitats come from human pressures and increasing demand for food, fuel or water.

Global Action Plan
Who we are
We are a charity that brings people together and inspires them to take practical environmental action. We work out the impact of their actions and share their stories so more people are inspired to change.
What we do
Working with businesses, schools and communities, we provide behaviour change programmes that help people live more sustainably. Since 1993, our award-winning partnerships have helped 750,000 people make practical changes for the environment. Through our events and communications, we’ve influenced a further 4 million people.
Our programmes are the UK’s only environmental behaviour change projects supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
Who we work with
Business & public sector
We create more sustainable organisations by equipping employees of businesses and public sector organisations to make practical environmental change on the ground.
Young people
Our aim is to build a growing number of people who have the motivation and skills to create a more sustainable society.
Communities
We are helping households limit their environmental impact, as well as helping them respond and adapt to a changing environment.
